1971-72 UCLA Bruins
30-0, average margin of victory 30.3 points, and a sophomore Bill Walton averaging 21 and 15. Wooden's sixth straight title and the gold-standard college team.
1966-67 UCLA Bruins
30-0 in Lew Alcindor's sophomore debut. Wooden's third title arrived in the most lopsided fashion yet, with the Bruins beating Dayton 79-64 for the championship.
1991-92 Duke Blue Devils
34-2 and back-to-back champions. Christian Laettner's turnaround buzzer-beater against Kentucky in the Elite Eight is the most famous shot in tournament history, and Duke beat the Fab Five for the title.
2011-12 Kentucky Wildcats
38-2 with Anthony Davis as the National Player of the Year and a roster that produced six first-round NBA picks. John Calipari's first title came with a 67-59 win over Kansas.
1975-76 Indiana Hoosiers
32-0, the last unbeaten Division I men's champion. Bobby Knight's first title came behind National Player of the Year Scott May and Kent Benson, capped by a 26-point win over Michigan in the final.
2000-01 Duke Blue Devils
35-4 with Shane Battier as National Player of the Year and a Jay Williams-Mike Dunleavy-Carlos Boozer core. Coach K's third title came with an 82-72 win over Arizona.
1967-68 UCLA Bruins
29-1, with the lone loss coming in the 'Game of the Century' to Elvin Hayes and Houston. UCLA got its revenge in the Final Four 101-69, then beat North Carolina for Wooden's fourth title.
1973-74 NC State Wolfpack
30-1 and the team that finally ended UCLA's seven-year title streak. David Thompson took over a double-overtime semifinal against the Bruins, and the Wolfpack beat Marquette for the championship.
1995-96 Kentucky Wildcats
34-2 and the Untouchables. Rick Pitino's deepest roster (nine future NBA players) ran through the bracket and beat Syracuse 76-67 for his first national title.
1981-82 North Carolina Tar Heels
32-2, Dean Smith's first national championship, and the night a freshman named Michael Jordan hit the game-winner over Georgetown. James Worthy was Final Four MVP.
