Free daily arcade games
Two arcade games a day where everyone gets the same board. Blocks drops the same shapes in the same order for everybody and never speeds up, so a run ends on a hole you left three shapes ago. Sweep is minesweeper with no bottom edge, a field that runs downward forever and is checked so it never needs a guess. Play as many runs as you like; the best one takes the board.
An arcade game is usually unrankable because no two players see the same thing. These fix the board: Blocks deals one sequence of shapes a day and Sweep lays one field, so a score is a comparison of play and nothing else. Neither speeds up, so the run ends on your own decisions.
Runs are unlimited and only your best counts, which is what an arcade high score always was.
Blocks if you have played falling-block games. Sweep if you know minesweeper; the twist is that it never ends until you do.
