About Cipher

Cipher is a free daily cryptarithm puzzle from Mind Loft. Each day serves one alphametic equation — the classic puzzle form where SEND + MORE = MONEY and every letter hides a digit. Assign a different digit to each letter so the arithmetic works, and know that the puzzle is machine-verified to have exactly one solution: if your logic is sound, you never have to guess.

The craft is in the columns. The leftmost letter of the answer is usually forced by a carry; from there each column narrows the field until the whole equation clicks open. A clean solve on the first check is a perfect 10 — every failed check costs a point, and the daily leaderboard breaks ties by fewer failed checks, then time.

A new equation drops every day at midnight Eastern, and the operation rotates so no two days repeat: addition and subtraction, with a bigger three-term equation in the Sunday Edition.
