Today: the Pyramid

All 144 tiles on the Pyramid, the Sunday Edition. Match pairs of free tiles until the board is empty. Timed, and every deal is proven clearable.

About Mahj

Mahj is mahjong solitaire as a daily puzzle: the full set of 144 tiles stacked in layers, cleared two of a kind at a time. A tile can only be picked when it is free, meaning nothing sits on top of it and its left or right side is open, so the order you clear in is the whole game.

The layout changes with the day of the week: the Bridge on Monday, then the Fortress, the Cross, the Towers, the Wide and the Arena, and the classic Pyramid on Sunday, the Sunday Edition and the hardest deal of the week. Every deal is built so it can be cleared and checked by a separate program before it ships, and Look Under lets you read the tiles beneath before you commit, so a stuck board is a planning lesson rather than bad luck.

It is timed: a full clear ranks on the clock, and each shuffle adds thirty seconds. More card and tile dailies: Taire, Cell, Hands, Hold.
