One secret city, no clues. Guess any world city and each ping tells you how far off you are.
About Ping
Ping is a free daily geography puzzle from Mind Loft, the daily city hunt. Each day there’s one secret city somewhere in the world and not a single clue to start. Name any well-known city and Ping answers with one number: the great-circle distance to the target, in miles or kilometers, whichever you prefer.
From there it’s pure triangulation: watch the distance fall and close in on the answer. There’s no limit on guesses, so everyone gets there in the end, the goal is to do it in as few guesses as you can. Give up any time and you’re still scored on how close you got. One free hint, on your first ever play, reveals the continent.
A new city drops every day at midnight Eastern, with a trickier one on Sundays. No app, no signup, play free in your browser, keep a streak, and race the daily leaderboard. More dailies: Span, our geography puzzle, Outrank, the daily crowd-ranking puzzle, and Crux, our clueless crossword.
