Blitzed is a free daily mental math game from Mind Loft, and the harder sibling of Blitz. Every one of its twenty problems has three numbers and two operations, like 5 + 10 × 2, so there is always a second step to hold in your head. The lines climb through five rounds, from small chains and the times tables up to brackets, percentages of a number with a tail, two-digit products and cubes. You get twenty seconds each and one life, so your score is simply how far up the ladder you got before a wrong answer or an empty clock stopped you.
The four options are not padding. Every wrong answer on the board is a mistake somebody actually makes, and the one a third number invites most is doing the first operation and stopping, so that answer is usually sitting there. The rest are a dropped carry, an ignored bracket, the left-to-right reading of a line that needs precedence, the cube next door. You cannot pick the right one out by its last digit or by its size, which means there is no way through but the arithmetic.
Everyone plays the same twenty problems in the same order each day, so the daily leaderboard is a straight fight: furthest wins, and ties break by time.
