Fill the grid from the rack so every row and column adds up to its target.
About Tally
Tally is a free daily number puzzle from Mind Loft, a logic puzzle in the sudoku family with a ledger twist. Each day gives you a grid and a rack of number tiles. Place every tile so that each row and each column adds up to the target printed at its end.
What sets it apart from kakuro or a magic square is the supply. You have exactly the tiles you need, no more, no fewer, so when the arithmetic alone leaves two ways to finish a line, counting what is left on the rack settles it. Every board has a single solution, and solving it with no wasted moves scores a perfect ten.
A new ledger drops every day at midnight Eastern, and Sundays step up to a bigger 6×6 board. No app, no signup, play free in your browser, keep a streak, and race the daily leaderboard. More dailies: Crux, our clueless crossword, Span, our geography puzzle, and Dating, our history puzzle.
