About Etch
Etch is a free daily nonogram from Mind Loft, the picture-logic puzzle also known as a picross or griddler. The numbers along each row and column tell you how many squares are filled in a row, in order, and your job is to work out which ones. Get them all and a picture appears.
Every board has exactly one solution and is reachable by pure line logic, so there is never a moment where you have to guess. Drag to fill a run, mark the squares you have ruled out with an ×, and watch each clue cross itself off as its line falls into place. Fill a square that isn’t part of the picture and it turns red, so you always know where you stand.
A new picture drops every day at midnight Eastern: 10×10 Monday to Friday, 15×15 on Saturday, and a 20×20 Edition on Sunday. No app, no signup, play free in your browser, keep a streak, and race the daily leaderboard. More dailies: Hedge, our loop puzzle, Suds, our daily sudoku, and Crux, our clueless crossword.
