About Outwit

Outwit is a free daily puzzle from Mind Loft where the puzzle is other people. Every day, five quick prompts pit you against the entire field of players: pick the option the fewest will touch, guess where the herd’s median lands, meet the crowd at its favorite answer, find the number nobody else takes, and finish by undercutting the crowd’s average — by a fraction that shifts from day to day, so the equilibrium is never the same twice.

There are no trivia answers to know — the classic game-theory twist is that everyone is reasoning about everyone else. And the score is alive: every time a new player locks in, the entire field is re-scored, so your points and your place on the board keep moving through the day. You are always measured against the whole crowd as it stands right now — a run that trails a small early field can lead once thousands more have played, and a morning sweep can slip as the day goes on. A pre-written house field seeds the small hours, then retires once ten real players are in, so by breakfast you're playing purely against people, and the standings never stop shifting.
