Thread is a free daily movie puzzle from Mind Loft. Nine films are each described in one sentence by someone who technically watched them and missed the point entirely, and all nine share one hidden thread: a director, an actor, a year, a city, a way of ending. Name the films, in any order and at no cost for a wrong guess, then call the thread. The earlier you call it right, the more it pays, and three wrong calls lock it at zero.
Part of every board is planted to read as a different thread, so the expert plays it as a deduction game on two or three tiles and a hunch, and the casual player plays it as nine riddles with a reveal at the end. Both finish with a number out of fifteen. Sundays run sixteen films and two threads. Everyone gets the same board, so the daily leaderboard ranks by score, then by how early the thread was called, then time.
