Springs Tavern (Springs)
A storied Springs tavern that was a daily haunt of Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, and Lee Krasner in the 1940s and 1950s, with a casual back patio and a menu of Baja fish tacos and bar classics. No reservations, live music, and a curated cocktail list keep the vibe genuine.
The Montauket (Montauk)
A laid-back Montauk bar with a wide deck and harbor views, drawing a mix of surfers, fishermen, and year-rounders who prefer a cold beer at sunset to a velvet-rope scene. One of the most consistently unpretentious spots on the East End.
Murf's BackStreet Tavern (Sag Harbor)

Stephen Talkhouse (Amagansett)
Amagansett's legendary live music venue and bar, open since 1970, that has hosted Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, and Van Morrison in its three intimate rooms. The front room pulses with live music; the Tiki Bar spills outside under the stars.
Shagwong Tavern (Montauk)
One of Montauk's oldest taverns, a dark-wood, neon-lit bar with a horseshoe counter, cheap drinks, and a crowd that skews heavily toward year-round fishermen and tradespeople. The antithesis of summer-scene Montauk.
Rowdy Hall (Amagansett)

The Dock (Montauk)
