A big Old Town sports bar on lively Wells Street with two floors, more than 40 screens, and a retractable roof. Tavern pizzas and classic cocktails make it one of the preeminent places to watch a game on the North Side.
Broken Barrel Bar (Lincoln Park)
Time Out's top Chicago sports bar, a whiskey-forward Lincoln Park spot with a 2,000-square-foot beer garden, frozen palomas in pouches, and TVs for every game. Burgers, wings, and bags keep the patio packed.
The Globe Pub (North Center)
A die-hard soccer pub in North Center that opens at dawn for Premier League and rugby, with cold beer, fish and chips, and a loyal supporters' crowd. Hard to find a seat at kickoff, in the best way.
Will's Northwoods Inn (Lakeview)
A Wisconsin-themed Lakeview hideaway and the city's Packers and Badgers headquarters, complete with a giant moose, cheese curds, brats, and Leinenkugel. Cubs, Sox, Bulls, and Blackhawks games play too.
Jake Melnick's Corner Tap (Streeterville)
A downtown institution near the Mag Mile famous for meaty, crispy wings in a dozen sauces and a deep beer list. TVs at every turn make it a go-to game-day tap, the habanero-ghost-reaper wings optional.
No Vacancy (River North)
An elevated River North dive with plenty of screens, fancy cocktails, and surprisingly good game-day bites like birria egg rolls and pretzel-crusted tenders. A newer favorite that punches above typical bar food.
Theory (River North)
An upscale River North sports lounge with more than 35 TVs and one of the city's only real Formula 1 followings, opening early on race days. Iowa fans take over on fall Saturdays.
Murphy's Bleachers (Wrigleyville)
A 45-year-old Cubs landmark directly across from Wrigley's bleacher entrance, with a rooftop, a big patio, and flat-screens everywhere. The classic pre- and post-game stop when you do not have tickets.
Cleo's Bar and Grill (West Town)
A West Town soccer bar and Chicago Fire hangout that shows international football into the early morning, plus patio bocce and a strong whiskey list. Open late and loud on match days.
DraftKings Sportsbook at Wrigley Field (Wrigleyville)
An in-stadium sportsbook and bar built into Wrigley Field, where a 2,000-square-foot screen can show up to 25 games at once. Place a bet, grab a cocktail tower, and watch from theater-style seats.
