Saw

Today’s tall photo is cut into 77 pieces. Drag each one to its place; it snaps in when it is close. The picture stays a surprise until you start.

About Saw

Saw is a free daily online jigsaw puzzle from Mind Loft, the tall sibling of Jig. Every day brings a new portrait photograph, a featured picture from Wikimedia Commons, cut taller than wide into 77 or 80 classic interlocking pieces. Everyone gets the same picture and the same cut, so the daily leaderboard is a fair race.

On a computer you build it on a loose table: a piece stays where you drop it, and two that belong together lock when they meet. On a phone each piece snaps into its own spot. Pieces never need turning. Sort the tray into edge pieces and the middle, or one of the picture’s colors and the rest. Peek shows the whole picture for a moment and adds 15 seconds to the clock. On a phone the board and the tray share one box: the board scrolls inside it and the plus button makes it bigger. Full screen gives the board and the tray the whole screen.

Finish the picture for a perfect 10; the fastest time tops the board. No app, no signup, play free in your browser. Want a wide picture? Jig is the same daily jigsaw on a landscape photo, and the photos from both come back later in Swap, Slide and Spin.
