About GiantToo

GiantToo is a free daily 16x16 color sudoku from Mind Loft, the color twin of Giant. The rules are the ones you know, at sixteen and in color: every row, every column and every 4x4 box holds all sixteen colors exactly once. The sixteen are eight color families, each in a soft and a bright pastel, so the pad reads in columns. That is 256 squares, almost three times a classic grid, and a proper long sit. Each day's board is a Giant board from three weeks earlier, turned, shuffled and recolored, so the two never play the same puzzle on the same day.

Every board has a single solution you can always reach by logic, with no guessing, and wrong entries are never flagged, so spotting your own slips is part of the puzzle. A clean solve scores a perfect 10 and the daily leaderboard is decided on the clock. On a phone you can play the whole board or zoom into one quarter at a time with full-size squares.

A new board drops every day at midnight Eastern; weekdays print fewer clues as the week goes on, from 128 on Monday down to 96 on Saturday, and the Sunday Edition prints ninety.
