Picasso's Pizza (West Seneca)

Pizzeria Florian (East Aurora)
East Aurora wood-fired standout scored 9.4 by Review.Pizza, the highest mark in Western New York. Blistered Neapolitan-style crusts, a cult Calabrian Crunch pie, and a 4.8 Google rating to match.
Imperial Pizza (South Buffalo)
A South Buffalo institution for thick-crust pies and off-the-pit wings, holding 4.4 stars across more than 3,000 Google reviews. Portnoy gave the Abbott Road original a 6.8.
Jay's Artisan Pizzeria (Kenmore)
Buffalo pizza on the national stage: 50 Top Pizza named Jay's the No. 7 pizzeria in America in 2026. Featherweight Neapolitan rounds and crisp-edged Detroit squares from a tiny Kenmore storefront.
La Nova Pizzeria (West Side)
The official pizza of the Bills and Sabres and a West Ferry Street fixture since 1957. Heavy cheese, spicy cup-and-char, and a sesame-seeded crust earned a 7.3 from Portnoy.
Lovejoy Pizzeria (Lovejoy)
Crunch is the calling card at this east side neighborhood shop, where the well-done crust and famous stuffed banana peppers have a fierce local following and 4.5 stars on Google.
Olisi's New York Style (Tonawanda)
The rare WNY shop that nails a true New York City slice: thin, chewy, fold-ready 20-inch pies in Tonawanda. Its 4.6 Google rating is among the best of any pizzeria in the region.
Buffalo Deep Dish (Larkinville)
A Chicago-style specialist baking out of BriarBrothers Brewing in Larkinville, and Review.Pizza's highest-scored pie within city limits at 9.1. Caramelized edges, ladles of chunky tomato, and a near-perfect Yelp score.
Zahz Pizza (Cheektowaga)
Retro lunch-counter charm in Cheektowaga with overloaded Buffalo-style pies whose cheese and pepperoni run clear past the crust line. 4.6 stars across 800-plus Google reviews.
