Bloomin' Onion
The showstopper that built the brand: a whole onion cut into a golden-fried bloom served with spicy bloom sauce. It appears in every major ranking of the menu and Chowhound puts it second among appetizers only to discontinued fried shrimp.
Loaded Mashed Potatoes
Creamy mashed potatoes piled with melted cheese, bacon, and green onions. Tasting Table ranks them fourth on the entire menu, ahead of most of the steaks.
Sydney Shrooms

Victoria's Filet Mignon
The signature center-cut tenderloin, lean, buttery, and the top steak in The Daily Meal's 2025 taste test. Order it medium rare and it cuts like a steak twice the price.
Bacon Mac & Cheese
The steakhouse macaroni in a rich cheese sauce studded with bacon. The Daily Meal ranks it the second-best side on the menu, behind only the chili.
Kookaburra Wings
Outback's crispy jumbo wings tossed in secret spices and served with blue cheese dressing, now also in Sweet BBQ and Buffalo Ranch versions. A fixture in both the appetizer and full-menu rankings.
Rockhampton Ribeye
The 13-ounce boneless ribeye, well-marbled and aggressively seasoned. The Daily Meal's taste test put it second among the steaks, just behind the filet.
