At 142 metres, the Lürssen delivered to Google co-founder Sergey Brin in 2024 is the largest yacht in American hands. Begun as Project Alibaba for a buyer who sold mid-build, it now tops the U.S. fleet.
Rising Sun (David Geffen; $400M)
The 138-metre Lürssen built for Larry Ellison and owned since 2010 by media mogul David Geffen. Its 82 rooms, basketball court, and cinema have hosted everyone from Springsteen to Oprah.
Koru (Jeff Bezos; $250M)
Jeff Bezos's 127-metre Oceanco is the largest sailing yacht in the world, with three towering masts and a 75-metre support vessel, Abeona, shadowing it.
Boardwalk (Tilman Fertitta; $450M)
The 117-metre Lürssen for Houston Rockets owner and Landry's billionaire Tilman Fertitta, the sixth yacht he has named Boardwalk.
Leviathan (Gabe Newell; $500M)
Valve co-founder Gabe Newell's 111-metre Oceanco, delivered in 2025. Newell liked the builder so much he bought Oceanco outright, and the yacht anchors his Inkfish ocean-research fleet.
Seven Seas (Steven Spielberg; $250M)
Director Steven Spielberg's 109-metre Oceanco, delivered in 2023 to replace his earlier 86-metre yacht of the same name. A floating studio with a cinema, naturally.
Bravo Eugenia (Jerry Jones; $225M)
The 109-metre Oceanco owned by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and named for his wife Eugenia. Delivered in 2019 with fuel-efficient hybrid propulsion and a beach club aft.
Moonrise (Jan Koum; $330M)
WhatsApp co-founder Jan Koum's 101-metre Feadship, delivered in 2025 and among the largest Feadships ever built. Koum is a Ukrainian-born American billionaire.
Limitless (Les Wexner; $100M)
The 96-metre Lürssen built in 1997 for L Brands and Victoria's Secret founder Les Wexner. For years it was the largest American-owned yacht afloat.
Whisper (Eric Schmidt; $200M)
The 95-metre Lürssen, formerly Kismet, bought by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt in 2023. A heavily customised yacht with a sweeping superstructure and a beach club.
