The Wolf's Tailor (Sunnyside)
Chef Kelly Whitaker's Sunnyside tasting-menu destination became the first restaurant in Colorado to earn two Michelin stars. A multi-course experience built on local grains, garden produce, and fermentation, served with a zero-waste ethos and inventive wine, cocktail, and zero-proof pairings — the highest-rated table in the state.
Beckon (RiNo)
Denver's first dedicated chef's counter, an intimate 18-seat RiNo room where every guest faces the open kitchen for a Michelin-starred tasting menu from James Beard semifinalist chef Duncan Holmes. Scandi-cool and seasonal, it earns a 4.7 on Google across 500-plus reviews.
Brutø (Dairy Block)
Part of Kelly Whitaker's Id Est group, this Michelin-starred Dairy Block restaurant invites diners to watch every step of the cooking up close at its open counter. A sustainability-minded, hearth-and-fermentation tasting menu with standout drink pairings in downtown's Free Market hall.
Kizaki (Platt Park)
After more than forty years pioneering Denver sushi at Sushi Den, chef Toshi Kizaki opened this solo omakase counter in Platt Park and earned a Michelin star in 2025. Watching the master work, you move steadily from octopus and amberjack to prized cuts of tuna and the best uni of the night. Google 4.9.
Mezcaleria Alma (LoHi)
Chef Johnny Curiel's Michelin-starred sister to Alma Fonda Fina captures Mexico City's spirit with CDMX-inspired, seafood-leaning small plates and 120-plus agave expressions. Cozy and lively in LoHi, with a near-perfect 5.0 on Yelp and 4.9 on Google.
Margot (Platt Park)
A Michelin-starred (2025) contemporary American tasting room at the Den Corner complex in Platt Park, where the kitchen weaves flavors from Sicily, Japan, the Americas, and France. Choose the evolving chef's-counter tasting or an à la carte dinner in the sleek, modern dining room; Google 4.8.
Restaurant Olivia (Wash Park)
Chef Ty Leon's pasta-focused Italian restaurant in Wash Park draws inspiration from the classics while looking well beyond any one region. Handmade pasta, playful cocktails, and an Italian-leaning wine list in a warm, intimate room — a favorite of the Infatuation, Westword, and 5280. Google 4.7.
Barolo Grill (Cherry Creek)
