How the grid filling play

Duet fills every square with a dot or a ring so every row, column and walled room is half and half, never three alike in a line. Lamps places lamps that shine along their row and column until a wall, and a numbered wall touches exactly that many. Snug turns and flips its pieces until they cover the board.

Bigger through the week. Duet and Lamps run 10x10 on Sunday, and Snug lays eight pieces on a 7x7.
