Fib is ready

Every row and column holds 1 to 5 once, and the open end of each sign points at the larger number. One sign is lying. Solve the grid, then accuse it. 5×5 today.

About Fib

Fib is a free daily logic puzzle from Mind Loft. It is a Latin square with inequality signs, close cousin to futoshiki, with one rule added that changes everything: exactly one of the signs is lying to you.

That single change is what makes the puzzle. In an ordinary grid a contradiction means you slipped up somewhere and have to walk it back. Here it might mean you have just found the fib, so every chain of reasoning carries a second question, and the clue you trusted first is usually the one worth doubting.

Every board was checked to admit exactly one grid and exactly one lying sign, so the answer is provable and you never have to guess. A new grid drops every day at midnight Eastern, and Sundays step up to a 6×6 Edition. No app, no signup, play free in your browser, keep a streak, and race the daily leaderboard.
